I've always been fascinated by how a simple food like chicken can tell so many stories about a culture, a region, and its people. Three years ago, I quit my corporate job in Sydney to embark on what my friends called "the craziest food adventure ever" – traveling across Australia to document every significant chicken dish I could find.

What started as a personal journey has evolved into a mission to showcase Australia's incredible cultural diversity through the lens of our favorite bird. From the spicy Malaysian-inspired chicken dishes in Darwin to the classic parmas in Melbourne pubs, I'm on a finger-lickin' journey to find out why the chicken crossed the road in every Australian town.

When I'm not eating chicken or writing about it, you'll find me hiking to burn off those calories, photographing wildlife (not chickens, they're too tasty), or attempting to recreate dishes in my portable camping kitchen.
